Metroid 2: The Return of Samus is a great game for the Game Boy. It has 1 huge world comprised into 3 different levels, three different endings, plenty of extras, a brilliant sense of atmosphere, and lots of different passages. This game has only one problem and that is going back and forth way too many times. Plus every time you go back you have to take out the enemies again. Overall though, if you like the Metroid series, then this game is good.
Pros:
+ One HUGE world, loosely split into several stages
+ Three different endings
+ Plenty of extra moves to find
+ Brilliant sense of atmosphere
+ Lots of hidden passages
Cons:
- Maybe tedious going back and forth for some people
