Dead Rising brings zombies back to the 360, but in a new light. This game has thousands of zombies to kill in many different ways, tons of different things to do inside of a gigantic mall, a great sense of style, fantastic sound effects, and a storyline that is interesting without pulling away from the action too much. However, the escort missions can get old after a while and the save system is a little off the wall with the real time system. Overall, this is a fun game and if you want to try something different, try this out.
Pros:
+ Thousands and thousands of zombies to kill in a myriad of ridiculous ways
+ Tons of things to see and try throughout the mall
+ Great sense of style
+ A plot that manages to be intriguing without intruding too much on the action
+ Fantastic sound effects
Cons:
- Save system and real-time game structure are frequently at odds with one another
- Tons of escort missions start to wear thin after a while
