Crash Tag Team Racing is a very fun game for the PS2. The game has great graphics and audio. The platforming and racing aspects are mostly fun, the clashing concept is neat, great characters, and a solid game. However, it isn’t an awful lot of challenge, multiplayer is somewhat lacking, and the core racing component is underwhelming. Overall though, I have always enjoyed Crash Bandicoot, and this game is fun for me.
Pros:
+ Clashing concept is neat
+ Somehow manages to cross a platformer and a kart racer without disastrous results
+ Cute, colorful characters with solid voice acting
+ Combat and platforming aspects are mostly fun
Cons:
- Not an awful lot of challenge, even on the hardest difficulty
- Multiplayer is somewhat lacking
- Core racing component is kind of underwhelming
