Battlefield 1942 is a game that focuses on WW2. You play as the Allies who try to conquer different areas from the Germans and Japanese. There are a variety of characters, vehicles, weapons, maps, and environments. The problems are that the single player is okay but a little weak, it can get choopy, very tricky to control the plane, and should be more complete.
Pros:
+ Game is suited to both team play, and lone wolfing it
+ 35 plus vehicles to use and abuse
+ Very well balanced character kits
+ Huge maps, large variety of settings
+ Extremely easy to get into
+ Control Points/Death Tickets system is an excellent new way of holding a multiplayer battle
+ Drive, shoot, run, fly, crawl, blow stuff up…you can do just about everything
Cons:
- Manual directs you to the official webpage; it should be more complete
- Very tricky to control the plane
- Can get choppy, even in single player
- Single player campaign is ok, but presented weakly
