Burnout Paradise is the first game in the Burnout series to be released for the next gen consoles. This game has a ton of things to do in an open world designed city that lets you cause as much destruction as you want. The graphics and the music make the racing and wrecking as awesome as ever. The online functionality is very addicting and the showtime mode is very fun. However, there could be some variety in race types and some people early in the game will be confused or overwhelmed because of all the stuff to do. Overall though, if you liked all previous Burnout games, you will like this one, and if you are looking for a new game to cause destruction, this works for you too.
Pros:
+ Racing and wrecking is as thrilling as ever
+ Open-world design creates a great sense of destructive freedom
+ Showtime mode is a hoot
+ Online functionality is seamless and addicting
+ Superb visuals
Cons:
- Could have used more variety in race and event types
- Early in the game, you’ll probably be a little confused and overwhelmed by the whole thing
