Prince of Persia: Epilogue Review

Prince of Persia: Epilogue

Rating: 7 Out of 10

May Contain Spoilers

Prince of Persia: Epilogue has been out for a while now and I was hoping for a very good decent DLC for this game when I first heard about it. Epilogue starts out right where the game left off and you reach this cool new underground palace area. Unfortunately you have an evil dark lord on your tail and Elika’s father isn’t really that happy either. The game has a few new things like the new power Energize which puts objects like walls back up before they were destroyed and the new move that charges at the enemy in a cool cinematic way. The game is still fun and it has new puzzles but the new puzzles seem more like dodge all of this corruption that we put in your way. You also run into the Shapeshifter who shifts into The Hunter and The Warrior but he is easily defeated using the same tactics as you would use for the original two. The content for the most part seems to be just reused content from the game with a new area and some new moves. Overall, this game took me around 2 hours to complete and if you really want to be caught up on the story and you don’t mind using 10 dollars then give this a shot.

Pros:

+ Still looks great and is a fun platformer

+ New puzzles, new moves, new powers

+ New trophies and still fun

Cons:

- Not really new puzzles, just more corruption

- Only took me 2 hours to beat

- Not much new, more reused
