Fable II returns in it’s second DLC titled See the Future. This DLC starts out in Bowerstone right across from where Knothole Island starts. (The other side of the dock.) There you will see the salesman Murgo from the long lost past where he will want you to buy a snowglobe. When you buy this snowglobe you will also get the assorted items as well as a new action for you and your dog. You will also notice that Murgo also has some new things for sale; more specifically the dog potions that will transform your dog into 3 different types of breeds as well as the original mutt form. They are huskie, bloodhound, and dalmation. Anyways, you activate the item and then you learn about a cursed old Oakvale in the globe. You meet some new baddies along the way and you save the day. This is how all of See the Future is for the most part. Murgo will have 4 items total for you, 3 you will have to buy for very cheap. The Snowglobe, the Skull, and the Tattered Spire you will buy and the last one, the Colosseum he will give for free.

The Skull puts you in a situation of freeing a trapped soul and learning about the new costumes. There is 3 costumes that you will receive, the Balverine, the Hobbe, and the Hollow Man. The Spire is where you see the future, you return to the Spire and see a vision of a future you and what is deemed to happen. Lastly, the Colosseum is just what you would expect. It takes you to a Colosseum where you kill a bunch of enemies.

Overall, although there is a smaller price tag on this DLC, you will probably be asking yourself after you buy this one. The content I finished up in around 2 hours and that was because I was looking around at everything and anything. The costumes, dog transformations, and extras are always goodies but this DLC seems to be lacking the punch as Knothole Island did. On the other side, it is an extension to the Fable II storyline and is always fun, but I just wish there was more to it.

Pros:

+ New Content and Achievements are always a plus

+ New Actions and new dog appearances

Cons:

- Shorter if not the same length as Knothole Island

- Really not much stuff added to the game

- Very short and somewhat not worth it

If you want to participate in the new quests, items, and achievements, you must download the Premium Pack for the 800 points. If you want to play with people who have the Premium Knothole Pack, you must download the free Pack. The Free Pack WILL NOT give you access to the island or new quests, just to play coop with people who have it. If you want to play the new quests, gain access to the new island, and get the new items, you must spend 560 points. Just get the 560 point one and you are fine.
