I went digging online and found out some information.

1. There is a suspended status and a closed status. The suspended status is a temporary status that will last for twelve months until it becomes closed. This is if you forget to pay the monthly fee or you pause it for a couple months to gather funds or you just aren't interested. If your account becomes closed, you will lose everything. Your name, your play passes, coupons, credits, games, saves, etc. (That sucks...)

2. Quote from Site about 720p: "Once higher sustainable bandwidths are widely available, OnLive will support higher resolution video, such as 1080p (1920x1080)."

3. No word on mods or dedicated server information (yet) that I can see but I can agree with you on that. Like you said, this is fine for a console gamer, or just a casual gamer who is not interested in that type of thing. A lot of people are asking this question.

My big concerns are the follow:
1) What happens to my purchased games if I decide to stop paying the motherly fee? Are they going to keep in their records what games I purchased, and for how long? If they don't, I will never buy any game from them. I'm a Steam user (over 50 games), and I don't mind owning digital media.
2) The 720p. This is extreemly low resolution. I hope they'll change this fast, because playing a game on 720p is ridiculous (at least on an average PC gaming rig).
3) No dedicated servers, no Mod community. This is fine for a console gamer, but for a PC gamer this is just disappointing. There is nothing better than playing a modified game...

Lets hope that these questions are answered soon.

Unfortunately, The Matrix Online has been shut down by SOE due to the fact that they didn't try to put any effort into the game. Devs Rarebit, Dracomet, and 9mmfu are to be commended for doing their best to make the best MxO experience possible.

oh it is really easy dude. i thought it was multiplayer over xbox live but it is actually a local multiplayer. you just need a 2nd controller hooked up and a different profile to play the 2nd player.

I am guessing that we are talking about the Homebrew Channel located here. I haven't used it personally, but from what I have heard it works very good. It works like an emulator and the only problem I have seen is that if you get a bad rom it won't work as good. Overall though it is nice and you aren't doing anything according to Nintendo.
