Dragon Age: Origins had 2 DLC packs since the release of the game so far and this is a review for the Stone Prisoner. This is 1200 MSP and adds the story of a new group member named Shale, a golem. In order to get Shale, you will run into a random trader who has a control rod for a golem in this village. This village, however, is not all that meets the eye. There is a power here that withholds the golem as well as the town in hostage. It is your job to save the town and your reward will be a couple new items, a few new quests, and a new partner. Later down the road, you will receive new conversations, new comments from Shale, and you will eventually learn the history of Shale and how she came to be. Yes I said she…you will find out what I mean later. (Bring Shale along to destroy the Anvil…) Not only is there that, but a few new achievements as well. Overall, this is a good DLC that adds more story, however, it is a high price tag and not everyone could be into that sort of thing. Let me just say though that Shale is a tank and can pack a punch.
Pros:
+ New Partner: Shale
+ More content / conversations
+ New Achievements / Quests
Cons:
- Expensive
- May not interest everyone
