So MMA is EA’s take on the Mixed Martial Arts where they take the Fight Night formula and tweak it to MMA style fighting. This is to compete with THQ’s UFC games. The game has a rewarding career mode with responsive controls and a focus on defensive fighting as much as offensive fighting. There are also options for good online play without lag. However, the opponents are not that convincing and sometimes you spend more time in loading screens then you do actually fighting people. Another thing is that the strikes don’t feel like they have much power behind them. Overall though, I think this is a fun game and if you like MMA I would suggest to give this a try.
