MGS is one the best games for the PS1. This game has everything going for it. Deep intense storylines and gameplay, brilliant music, state of the art production value, amazing graphics, beautiful effects, stunning use of analog controller, and good voice work and cool characters. They remade this game for the Gamecube called MGS: The Twin Snakes and that game is also really good. Check em out.
