The monkeys are back in Ape Escape 2. In the beginning of the game Jimmy, Spike's cousin, sends pants from the lab to monkey island. What he doesn't know is that he also transported the monkey helmets there. Natalie is enraged and the Professor is on vacation. So now they must grab the monkeys back and stop them before the Professor finds out. Unfortunately, there is another problem. Specter, the monkey leader, has also returned and we all know what happened last time he was in charge. It's up to Jimmy to save the world from the evil Specter.
