+ Looks great, especially when you're blowing up mechs or trashing buildings
- Single player campaign doesn't have side goals
- Slower mechs are really handicapped
- No save points in missions
Mech Assault is one of the first games for the X-Box. This game has you play as a Mech Captain who is trying to stop a mysterious cult from taking over the world or destroying it. This game has great control, excellent X-Box Live support, lots of terrain types, large variety of mech in multiplayer, and it has great graphics when you blow stuff up. The only problems are that the single player has no save points and no side goals. Another problem is that the heavier mechs are really handicapped. Overall, I like these kind of games and that is why I give it a 9.
