Texas Hold ‘Em I was lucky to get for free thanks to a friend of mine sending his friend’s list a message saying Texas Hold ‘Em would be free for like the first week or something along those lines. This game is what you expect from the title. It can teach you the basics of Texas Hold ‘Em and can be pretty enjoyable too online if you happen to playing people that know what they are doing. However, there isn’t much presentation behind the game, there isn’t much to the single player mode, and the game is paced awfully slow. Overall though, since I got this game for free, I can’t really complain, but I would say to wait for a better poker game or if you really want this, try it first.
Pros:
+ Online play is enjoyable, provided you’re playing against people who know what they’re doing
+ Game serves as a decent way to teach you the basic rules of Texas Hold ‘em
Cons:
- Presentation is lackluster
- Single-player mode is little more than an excuse to get achievement points
- Game is paced awfully slowly
